Journey towards knowing the truth~
Hello peeps,
I am surely not a blogger and i have never been successful in writing a diary.
19th November 2013 - We went to see and O&G doctor at KPJ Seremban. I was quite worried to hear what the doctor will say when I see her. Btw, we had booked an appointment with Dr Rosy who is one of the female doctor in Seremban. Both of us were nervous that morning since we do not know what's the cause of our still pending pregnancy (hihi, i sounded optimistic by using 'pending pregnancy'. FYI, we have been married for 2years and 5 months yet there's no sign of baby in my tummy. Thus, we decided to take it to the pro to tell us what's wrong.
I arrived early at 8.30 am and put register at the front desk, then being showed to Dr. Rosy's clinic. There are 3 O&G doctors here, yet I prefer to talk about women thing with a woman rather than a man. So, my name was called after nearly one and a half hour of waiting ~
The doctor is a joyful person, very positive and optimistic person. She scan my tummy and said that my right ovary is swollen due to not having my period for like 4 months. Then she checked everything and mentioned that I need to go for a blood test just to make sure.
After looking at everything, she is quite sure that I have PCOS and I will be given medication to help me pregnant. My sudden weight gain after marriage (I gained nearly 20kg after 2 1/2 years of marriage....thank u) triggers that to happen. Therefore, losing weight and taking medication is the best choice. Dr. Rosy gave me suggestion for my diet and let me off for a week.
Before we went home, Blood Test (bluuuueeeerghhhh) hate it!!
26 November 2013
It is confirmed!!!
My testosterone level is 1.6 (which is not normal for a lady, mind u) - too high as ladies should only have 0.5
LH and FSH are also high :(
Shocked, and devastated yet, being convinced by the doctor to lose weight, eat right, exercise and i'll be okay. (Fingers cross)
But the BEST thing is..............................I lost 1.5kg :) (according to the scale in the clinic - but not electronic scale at home :( Yeay!! and Nay!!! Doctor said, to not worry and i'll be okay. I loooooooike this kind of doctor who assures you not to worry :)
So, I'll be seeing Dr. Rosy again on 21st January.
The challenge is to lose 10KG in 2 months... Will I be able to do it? Let's do it!!!
